The website is hosted by one.com. When you visit the site, one.com processes technical access-log information needed to deliver, maintain and secure it.

The built-in one.com Statistics service is used to understand general website traffic and readership. one.com states that this service obtains its information from server access logs rather than from an analytics script placed in your browser. It measures requests and groups visits using the same browser and IP address within a limited period.

The information may include your IP address, the date and time of a request, pages and files requested, browser and device information, referral information and approximate location information.

The purposes are to operate and secure the website, identify technical errors or misuse, understand which pages and publications are read, and improve the content and technical performance of the site.

Where one.com processes personal data on Jesper Kjerside’s behalf, it acts as a data processor under the Data Processing Agreement incorporated into the personal web-hosting contract. one.com states that data belonging to customers residing in the European Union is hosted in its data centres in Denmark.

No visitor data are sent by this website to an external advertising or browser-side analytics provider.

Retention

Technical access-log and Statistics information is retained by one.com according to its service settings, operational requirements and applicable legal obligations.

Jesper Kjerside does not create a separate visitor-level analytics database or combine one.com Statistics information with information from advertising or social-media platforms.

Routine email inquiries are normally deleted within 12 months after the last substantive correspondence. Information may be retained for longer where it remains relevant to an ongoing matter, a professional relationship, the establishment or defence of a legal claim, or another legal obligation.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to request access to personal data concerning you, have inaccurate information corrected, request deletion or restriction of processing, and object to processing based on legitimate interests.

You can exercise your rights through the contact address shown on this page. It may be necessary to verify your identity before responding to a request.

You also have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet. The Agency recommends first contacting the person responsible for the processing.
